Richard Brewer-Hay has almost 20 years experience in communications, marketing and production on behalf of some of the world's most innovative companies including Yahoo!, eBay, NEC, Microsoft and StubHub. In November, 2014, he joined Splunk to lead its social media efforts across the global organization. In January, 2008, he joined eBay as Chief Blogger to direct its social media initiatives and launch “eBay Ink” (http://ebayinkblog.com), where he captured and shared his insights and perspective on the company and provides another conduit for corporate communications. He went on to launch a similar program for the StubHub organization. On the weekends, Richard runs a homebrew-pub out of his basement in San Francisco called the Elizabeth Street Brewery out of which he brews and distributes beer to friends and family. In April 2010, his beer – “Imperial Jack”, named after his Grandfather and brewed in collaboration with San Francisco’s 21st Amendment Brewery, was a Gold Medal winner at the World Beer Cup in Chicago, IL in the “other strong beer” category.
