With more than 12 years in the communications field, Shonali Burke, ABC, is rapidly making a name for herself as a thought leader in measurable communications. In December 2007, Shonali was named one of the top “40 Under 40” public relations professionals in the United States by PRWeek. In October 2008, the measurement program she designed and implemented while the ASPCA’s Vice President of Media & Communications received one of two Certificates of Merit in the Institute of Public Relations’ Jack Felton Golden Ruler Awards.
Shonali speaks frequently on the business of communications, and has been cited several times in industry publications such as PRWeek and The Measurement Standard for her strategic use of media and emphasis on research-based, measurable and integrated communications. A self-confessed measurement fiend, she is owned by three former shelter dogs, and lives with her husband in the Washington, D.C., metro area.
