Toby Ward, founder and president of Prescient Digital Media, has years of experience working with dozens of companies and their intranets, including Mastercard, Pepsi, Gartner, Royal Bank and Manulife. He is the author of Finding ROI, a leading study conducted on intranet return-on-investment that included participants such as KPMG, Scotiabank, Volvo, Shell, Royal Bank, New York Life and HP. He is a regular contributor to CIO.com, Darwin Magazine and others and is a popular speaker at conferences by The Conference Board, IQPC, IABC and Ragan. He is co-leader of the Intranet Insider community on Communitelligence. Angelo S. Ioffreda is vice president, Internal Communications, Sodexho USA. He has led a transformation of Sodexho’s communication practices. Under his leadership, the company’s magazine, e-newsletter and intranet have gained recognition as best-in-class. Angelo’s previously worked as an independent strategic communications and management consultant. He also served as director of internal communications at America Online, where he was responsible for improving organizational communications, assisted with integrating numerous acquisitions (e.g., Netscape, Moviefone, Mapquest, CompuServe) and was instrumental in developing and executing the communications strategy for the AOL Time Warner merger. While at America Online, Angelo led AOL’s successful effort to be listed in Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work For in America” in 2000, and his work earned several national and local honors for creativity, including a Gold Quill Award, two Silver Inkwell Awards, and an Addy Award.
