Laura Fitton is the coauthor of Twitter for Dummies and founder of oneforty.com, an app store for Twitter. She is credited with convincing Guy Kawasaki and thousands of tech experts that Twitter would have real value for businesses. Laura also founded Pistachio Consulting, the first Twitter consultancy for business customers, which serves customers like Ford Motor Company and Johnson & Johnson. Now, Laura is an Inbound Marketing Evangelist at HubSpot, where she shows companies how to grow by helping people buy rather than berating them with marketing messages. Laura has been featured in BusinessWeek, Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, as well as many other national publications, and in five published books, including Seth Godin’s Tribes. In 2010, she was named one of the most influential women in technology by FastCompany. She was also featured in Mashable’s “44 Female Founders Every Entrepreneur Should Know.”
